It’s November 26, 2013. And it appear that winter is back in East Tennessee. I didn’t want it to be back because I really enjoy the warmer temps and being able to be outside without having to turn your back to the wind and brace against the rain, sleet and snow. It just makes more sense if we don’t have to do that. But, since we do have to do that we might as well make the best of it. So for today, it’s cold, raining and the forecast is for the rain to change to snow tonight and tomorrow. Which means that not a lot of people are out stirring around. And those that are out are stocking up on bread and milk. And someone mentioned cookie dough. Getting ready for the 2 inches of snow that we might get. If you haven’t figured it out yet, things can get a little slow around here when the weather does this. So here’s a little Camera 360 shot that came forth out of boredom and just a little effort.
It’s just a simple shot but at the same time it’s sort of a fun shot. I used the phone for this one and the tilt shift feature on the Camera 360 app. Sometimes something as simple as a phone camera and a unique angle on something as exciting as a deskptop (a real one) can look good and make an interesting shot. For sure I’d never get my Nikon to take this shot just because I couldn’t get it at the angle needed. And then I’d have to photoshop the finished shot to get the tilt shift look going. So this is easier and sometimes more fun. Especially when you waiting on it to snow and not much else is going on.
Anyway, I had time to post here and that’s something that I haven’t had for a while. I would love to do more here but somehow just can’t find the time. Isn’t it funny how that the more inventions that we have to help us and save us time, the busier we seem to get. I’ve often thought before that sometimes we just might be getting a little snow or ice to “help” us to slow down and take a breather. Of course, the folks at the grocery store can’t slow down. They are busy stocking bread and milk. Oh well, just another passing thought. See ya later.
