After the 4th

Happy few days after the 4th of July. I didn’t get out and get any fireworks photos but I have been working on re-organizing my photos. I’m trying to figure out which photos to keep and which to turn loose. That’s always been one of my problems. I tend to keep them all even if I no longer have a use for them. And I have realized that I am the typical grandfather because most of my later shots seem to be of my granddaughter. But that’s OK, she’s a pretty good model.  I used to have a custom domain name for my smug mug site but have since let it go. If you want to view some of my photos on smug mug, here’s the link.

I’ve been occupied lately  with 360 video. That’s a totally new experience for me. When I upgraded my phone I had the opportunity to purchase the Samsung Gear 360 camera for 49 dollars and at that price I thought it would be fun to play with. So far it’s been tons of fun.  Just learning some new ideas and trying something new has been fun and challenging. Hopefully I’ll have a 360 video to post here soon. I’ve always been the person that don’t like to have my photo taken and the first thing I learned is that it’s hard to stay out of the shot when you use 360 cameras. So I’ll have to figure that part of it out. Even the tripod is in the shot most of the time.

I hope you had a good 4th of July weekend and while we celebrated being free in this country, I pray that you have been set free in Jesus Christ. That is the ultimate freedom. Have a great day and know that Jesus loves you.  John 8:32-36
